In my mum's case, she can see when messages pop up on the phone screen so reads them when they arrive. She can't unlock it to retrieve them later or send a reply.

Morning! Thankfully I slept! Done dishes, folded away a bit of laundry that was dry, now a pint of hot lemon and ginger water on the sofa while the house warms up. Sun shining weakly... Must go get chicken feed and cash before my Shiatsu man arrives at 11.30 and hopefully plant the 6 outstanding new plants I bought, before heading to Brecon for two exhibitions and to pick up a book I ordered from the bookshop.

Yes! And another busy one tomorrow: first round of new treatment, a 2 hour drive away, and the friend who is taking me wants to go to the foundry there as well, so we will be out most of the day! I 3xpect to be flopped at the weekend.

No she won't let me change it. She has become quite stubborn since her stroke unfortunately.
