Tea, toast.
Planned day has been rearranged - but since I’ve already had a shower and washed my hair I won’t take advantage of the run window that appeared afterwards *sighs*

The sun has burnt off the frost, so I can take off my woolly hat. Gloves still on, as the soil is cold and wet.
Just come in and washed a small harvest from two tubs of potatoes. I bought the tubers for planting but wasn't well enough to plant them until quite late...
Still: better than nothing ☺️
I am sat drinking, no, inhaling, a coffee, looking at a book: To Stand and Stare: how to garden doing virtually nothing, a print of a dandelion, yellow and cheery, that says "love weeds" in letter press and a print of a mountain with a Jack Kerouac quote: "Because in the end, you wont remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing the lawn. CLIMB THAT GODDAMN MOUNTAIN.
So, climbing I am!
Just been confirmed there is a ticket for tonight's classical concert!
Sun is shining, I am gardening and harvesting food for a meal later.
Love life, it could be over tomorrow!
Never felt more alive!

Removing anti rot treatment from my hands. Treating the underside is tricky, I suppose the thing to do is to have it upright to do so, but I haven’t got enough time to do that this weekend given likely drying times now it’s cold.

Ideally I’d have last weekends weather this weekend!

I was thinking that too Fields, re the weather...
I spent two days in hospital: the last dry, warm, sunny days... Ah well! At least the sun is out today.

Yes, I bought the bench last Saturday but didn’t think I’d get it in the car, so it was delivered yesterday.

Not ideal timing, had it come earlier in the week when it was warmer I could have done it then.

Anyway the bench was reduced and I’d had my eye on it for some time.

Although there's blue sky and bright sunshine in Crosby, at 10 deg C in a damp atmosphere, getting coverings to dry would be a challenge. You've got a layer applied, Fields, a step forward.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
