Celebratory trip to mcd impacted by big spider crawling over teen bag. Parked badly in car park flinging out mats while we tracked it’s progress eventually into a boot in the rear seat. Flung boot out onto grass while mcd carpark watched us with interest. Despite bashing on sole the spider remained in boot until eventually emerging dizzy and trying to bolt back to car. we raced it back and did up windows like that will help. Hoovering car now added to todays list

Work is not manic. Some people have been cleaning the windows outside. The insides were done the other day.

The person in our comms team responsible for sending out messages regarding The Queen's death and arrangements for Monday keeps spelling 'Elizabeth' as 'Elisabeth' and then has to send out apologetic corrections.

I can’t work out if work want me to work on Monday or not. There’s a sort of ‘oh well, if you *want* the day off…’ attitude. Suspect it’s because they want people to work but don’t want to pay them extra or give them time in lieu.

Lunch. I was inexplicably so hungry while out on my bike that I had to stop at the golf course and buy a sausage roll and hot chocolate to stave it off.
