um 🎄
I was told by quite a few wine-ologoists to invest in an aerator ... eg amazon.co.uk although many others are available. Does make a big difference, esp if wine has been open for a few days. Not often that happens here though. And gives you an excuse to drink 2 glasses. One without, one with, and then pontificate about whether they're different or not. Then repeat ... |

From a chemistry viewpoint, just opening the bottle will make no difference as the amount of wine exposed to air will be minimal. I can imagine decanting would increase the exposure of more wine to air. But in the case of cheap wine that’s probably a bad thing I’m drinking beer myself |
