Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The little dog is visiting. Have thrown his ball a few times and fed him. He's easily pleased.

Frustrating afternoon. Afternoon reading (nap) interrupted by ‘phone call. Followed by email that made me quite cross. Oh and schools are likely to go back full time after summer which makes me sad.

Clickncollected at Waitrose. The queue was short and moved fast, not that I had to queue

Moroccan lamb for dinner. It was for last night but I couldn’t eat because of the migraine. I just need to make rice (QP doesn’t like couscous which is my preference).

I popped into the smaller Sainsbury's on my way back from visiting my mum. It was very quiet and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes (I only wanted some plant food, and that was in the first aisle in.) If I'd wanted to do a big shop, it would have been a very good time to go. Still don't need a big shop at the mo though.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
