Exciting Switts :-)
My mate used to go to Gatwick for the shops and the glamour in the 90s. She loves a concrete jungle if it’s full of slebs and sparkle

I have never been to an airport to hang about the observation deck. I have hung about under the flight path of Aberdeen Airport but we weren't there for the planes.

I know I should know this but what are/is HNSW? Vrap has it/them with her coffee.

Anyhoo, I am standing at me desk trying to work out WTF I should be doing. Having done all of the 'clearing the decks' admin jobs I am left with a lot of CPD/development tasks with no deadlines and actually no clear sense of direction. I need structure and boundaries.

I appear to have mislaid a member of staff. I think they are in a very long conversation with another (disgruntled) member of staff and will in turn now also be disgruntled. I was trying to head this off at the pass.

Desking. It has been noted that we have less work so are being prodded to do online tedious training.

Unfortunately there is no viewing place at Gatwick now. Its fun to ride on the monorail though. There are a few prime viewing spots around the local lanes/industrial estates. I highly recommend Shoreham Airport ("Brighton City" ha ha) for viewing small flying objects whilst consuming delicious food in Art Deco surroundings :-)

Second coffee. A plane just flew over so I had to run outside to look at it.

When I was young, we used to cycle over to the airport and go in the cafe to watch the planes. You could also sit outside in those days.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
