My days of camping are long gone. I'd only entertain the idea if I went to a permanent safari camp, but I won't be doing that in the forseeable.

I only started this thing for the kids. But it's actually helping me feel less cooped up.

We’ve not been camping in ages. I think the last camping ‘holiday’ made me realise I find it too tiring and not actually all that relaxing. We'll camp on multi day walks and for kayaking trips but not longer trips.

Whenever my children camped in the garden, they came indoors about 4 a.m.
However, they did camp away from home with cubs / scouts etc.
It's getting eaten alive by biting insects that bothers me.

I used to camp in the garden as a child and loved it. Cedd wants to do it with his mate when he is allowed.

I am definitely considering a couple of nights in my little tent in the garden.
and am now a bit worried that I've taken away too much lawn with recent changes and the "big (not very) tent" won't fit so I won't be able to put it up in the garden to dry
