Reindeer herding programme on BBC4 - no spoken commentary; just some sparsely distributed on-screen details. Songs & music of the Sami people are eerie & captivating.
Dogs used are often border collie crosses, and travel on the skidoos when not herding. The reindeers swim 800m to their island pasture.
[prob not mundane - highly recommended viewing.]
