Watching TV with Eli, who dropped in unexpectedly with his dad for a visit. And lunch. Had to raid the almost empty freezer! Luckily there was plenty of crumble for afters.

Quote received for plastering (skimming) of living room. More than double the quote I got from previous plasterer, who has retired. Really wishing I had pulled my finger out and done it before the retirement.

I would certainly query the mount HP, I know it's not the same person but the size of the walls and what you want done hasn't changed - even if you reach a middle ground.

Hmm! He felt we needed to blue grit the walls in order to safeguard against the wallpaper which is under layers of paint falling off and taking plaster with it. The other guy didn’t suggest that. I suspect this one knows his stuff but £700 v £300 is steep.

Wow how big is your living room hp?! Get another quote at least!
Been glued to my laptop doing a job application which I don’t know if I’m brave enough to send tomorrow plus I need to dig out a CV. Sore eyes. Might need to go to the pub.

It’s taken me ages to find this one. I need to investigate further.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
