Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I love British Columbia. I had a ski trip to Whistler a few years back. And poutine is much nicer than it sounds

Ooo, I'd quite like to visit Canadia. It's much more appealing than the US at the moment though last night Sam and I briefly discussed the idea of doing an epic coast to coast road trip across the US around the time we turn 40 (six years away). By then hopefully it will be a bit less terrifying.

I just did a little bike ride! All of 2.7k, and mostly in second or third gear (of the sopping six I have available on the omafiets, but it didn't hurt particularly while I was doing it, so now just to wait and see if it continues to not hurt.

A physio told me that gentle cycling was a great way to 'practice my ankle' when I was recovering from a bad sprain a few years ago, so I'm sure the same applies now.

Grey here. But not raining. Yesterday’s shoes still wet from my run, so had to wear another pair.

Both OH and I are off work today. We are taking it in turns to be confused about whether it’s Friday or Saturday and are muddling each other up something chronic. I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up in the pub tonight waiting for the football to come on.

We are off today, hoping the sun is coming out after lunch so we can wave to Fleecy on her island.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
