Weird interlude where I went to a meeting and we had to explain to someone that ‘suspenders’ in colloquial English does not mean the same as ‘braces’, then when I said who we were discussing everyone else said ‘oh, he’s the illiterate one’ (it was not a meeting about literacy.)
Then I went down one floor in the lift (the stairs are ‘not working’. Don’t ask.) There were two people in there who said, as we went from level G to level E, ‘ooh, I hope it’s going down’ ‘oh no. It’s going up.’ ‘Maybe it’ll go down now.’ ‘I think we’ll be a bit late now. We’ll just blame the traffic.’
That makes no sense. Level G is the top floor. Did they parachute in onto the roof?

Me too, but I don’t think I’d use it to describe what my patient from Portsmouth is wearing.

It was not really a gannt chart, just a timeline with coloured boxes. But as long as I understand it that’s all that matters. I’m stressing out a bit now because it turns out October is SOON! Went and bought plants and veg seeds at the garden centre, now to plant stuff. First I will take ds1’s girlfriend home though
