Lizzie - discovering pockets is one of life's great pleasures :-)

I've done all my chores and watched a film whilst doing some ironing. I'm employing a new tactic for making sure my ironing basket stays empty or near-to : decide that a lot of stuff in it will never be worn again and put it in the charity bag. Sorted. Just need to convince OH to do the same with his.

Coffee, toasted hot cross bun, and watching the rugby. I don't watch it usually, have no idea what's going on, and can't remember what OH told me about what it means if X beats Y, and then A beats B, or vice versa.

I also don’t really know what goes on in rugby, but I find watching it strangely relaxing.

Went for what seemed like a really long dog walk that apparently was only an hour and a bit. Going to go and make lentil stew, if only I could remember where I put the iPad so I can carry on watching the rugby while I do it.

I should be watching the rugby, but I fear I'll jinx Wales by doing so (what do you mean, how ridiculous is that, it's happened before) so I'm watching Paddington on Film 4 instead.

Ha - see, I turned over for the last five minutes and what happens? :-) (Trying not to spoilerise for anyone who doesn't know the score) :-)

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
