In a chair, trying to catch up.

Oh dear LD, apart from your poor Mum's senior moment, glad that her party was a success.

When I was young, I didn't like bolognese but I did like spaghetti so I would eat it with just butter and tomato puree on it. :)

Looking at birthday party ideas for Ds2. It’s surprising how productive I can be when there’s a mountain of work needed to be done :)

Cooking has gone badly here. Made second of soups which I quite like but is a worrying green (wild garlic and Cannellini beans) and I think I’ll be eating on my own this week. Then made a soy mince lasagne. Should be fine but they’ve done something weird with the mince to try and give it some flavour and that flavour is: unpleasant. Added more tomatoes to try and drain it out so now have mammoth portion. Too much to throw it out so this is going to be a long dark teatime with more of the same tomorrow. Slumped off for a cup of tea and blinking cat got in and was licking the pan which is a) gross and b) poisonous no doubt for cats. I should be grateful anyone is willingly prepared to eat it I suppose. Grr

It's windy over here at the moment too, a couple of times we were heading downhill into the headwind and hardly moved. Could have done with some windscreen wipers on the goggles too.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
