It’s a shame forecast for our weekend destination is 18 mph winds and heavy rain over night. We’ve made a decision to stay here tonight, to avoid the worst of the weather and get some sleep, then head out very early on Sat to join the club for the paddle at Arisaig. We hope to squeeze in a climb in Fort William on Sunday. None of that is mundane when I think about it but I have typed it now.

I want to run this morning so I don't end up having to run 9 miles in the evening when I'm rubbish in the evenings.
