Hello. Just back from y9 options evening. Given that SweetPea actually only has to choose 3* subjects it's a complete brain melt.

*1 of those has to be a humanity, so the real choice is down to 2.

Fierce and Focused Fleecy
Ds2 has much less choice than ds1 had, though I think it’s good he has to take a language.
Ds1 made himself fried eggs and chips and ds2 has been looking at redecorating his bedroom. I must have done something right :)

I've just booked flights to budapest for May :) Not very mundane. I don't even know if my passport is in date. The only 'foreign' holiday I've had recently is to the Lake District :)

Ooh egg and chips! Food of the gods
SweetPea doesn't have to do a language - that's one of her options. Although this time last year we were told they would have to. The school is flip flopping a bit over making the EBacc compulsory. She does want to do French, which effectively leaves one choice- a second humanity or a creative subject.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
