Guilt-tripped OH into going into town to buy me a Christmas present and into getting the Vax out and shampooing the living room carpet. In fact he got so enthused by the Vax he did the back of the sofa where the dog often lies and got rid out her grubby marks too. A fine day's work. Just a shame he never thinks to do these things spontaneously. Our lives would be so much calmer
