Leopard slug, I'd say too.

Not a big problem.

I thought leopard slugs were more browny than green/yellow?

Looking at the ID pages I need to see what colour the next ones tentacles are!

Does it have yellow body slime? If so it is flavus. Colour is odd for leopard (Limax maximus), but pattern is striking for cellar (Limax flavus), although there is a spotted form.

Still don't think it is much of a pest either way! They prefer dead stuff.

I'm sure I see slugs like that one in my compost bin.

Our council restarted garden bin collections this week so I finally got my first one of the year out.

I've been earthing up my potatoes, the earlies and main crop came through at the same time despite being planted weeks apart!

Mine too D2 :)

I'm having issues of having grown way too many seedlings for the amount of space I have to put them in.

I also received two lots of an order of 6 asparagus roots. I don't really have anywhere for 6, let alone 12! - they said not to send them back and I haven't been charged.

Does anyone want to see if 6 sparrowgrass roots will grow for them having been sent in the post twice? Happy to post out...

Fragile Do Not Bend
That’s tempting RH, how much space you say they’d need? I have no shortage of space, trouble is anything not earmarked for something else is currently grass.

They need 12 inches all around each one, I believe. They have very shallow roots and ideally need to go into somewhere with no perennial weeds. If you dug the grass up and replaced with compost/topsoil that might work.
I have a sort of raised bed planned for them, but only really room for 6 - and it's not quite there yet. Unfortunately I seem to have ground to a halt today. Need to get out and do some more before it starts raining.
