Mizuno Wave Inspire 5 vs newer models

GregP Jan 2012 2:00pm, 12 Jan 2012 56,156 posts	0 GregP I thought 5 and 6 were supposed to be similar (I still have a pair of 6 under my desk for the odd occasion when I run at lunchtime). They were changed for 7 I think. Nellers I suspect may have something to say here - he loved his 6s and then defected to Zoot.

ChrisHB Jan 2012 3:04pm, 12 Jan 2012 6,986 posts	0 ChrisHB I've had 3, 4 and 6. Unfortunately for Mizuno, I'm getting very well over 1000 miles out of them. The 3 are my everyday shoes now, and the 4 & 6 still serve me for running.

longboat Jan 2012 3:34pm, 12 Jan 2012 2,601 posts	0 longboat 7s are not as wide as 6s, but other than that I have not had any problems Have one pair of 7s at 500 miles and another at about 350 - don't see either of them lasting much beyond 500!

icemaiden Jan 2012 4:18pm, 13 Jan 2012 3,048 posts	0 icemaiden Blue 6s are my faves of all of them. I am halfway through some 7s and have a pair to go but I think I am going to try Mizuno Creations next as I am a midfoot striker these days and the front end of the 7s isn't very soft.
