Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Those £25 for 6 mince pies don't look appetising: pastry a bit burnt and dry and the filling looks as if it would have an acrid, possibly bitter tang to it. It almost looks like the work of Heston Blumen-expensive-thal.....

Wife made a batch of mincemeat, of the twelve pies it filled, only one made it out of the muffin tin intact, so I've eaten that one.

To save TRO £25, The Times tested them, and a few others
thetimes.com

Pump Street and St John both got 5 stars.
So we may need TRO's confirmation.

No mince pie is worth 1/6 of £25.

I can't bring myself to pay what they're asking this year and anything under £2 is going to be expensive pastry. I may get round to making a few some time next month.

I may have thought differently if they hadn't taken away my heating allowance this year. ;-)
