Closing this year's account for me. Final 2 for lunch. meaning the box is empty, +6
734
Interesting fact? A734 - this road is no more! It has ceased to be! It’s expired and gone to meet it’s Maker! This is a late road, etc etc Long, long ago, in a land south of Kilmarnock, back before the A77 Kilmarnock bypass was built, the A734 linked the A71/A76 junction in Hurlford with the A77 in the southern outskirts of Kilmarnock. The twice-rerouted A71 now follows the eastern section of the old A734 between Hurlford and the interchange on the A77 (the original A71 into Kilmarnock is now the B7073), and the western part of the old A734 is now the B7072 which connects the A735 (was the interim A71) with the B7038 (old A77). Complicated...
And no more mince pies for me, so no more interestingfacts. Until December.
