Ugh that was horrific. I think I am off ,marathons for life now! Official time 4:52:03, this is what happens when your *training" constitutes a half back in February, and a 6 mile panic run on the gym treadmill on Friday lol!
Well done everyone :-D

Mr. K.
Loved it - one of the best marathons I`ve done. I mean the event not `my own running wise` but very happy with my time. Would highly recommend this event to anyone. The 4:30 pacer was spot on - awesome pacing skills.

Well done FR. My brother said you did a brilliant job pacing 4:15. (I knew you would.) Sadly he stopped at mile 21 when the heat got too much for him.

Tooooo hot by far!
Although setting out with a target of under 3:30 - to come home in (watch time) 3:34 i am happy with. Those "hills" in the last few miles were a bit of a bummer though.

Sorry to read that DeaJay, however it was great to see you on the course. It wasn't really the day to be a pacer

Only made it to 9miles then had a groin strain. Then a 2 mile walk home. Never had it before, I feel like I'm being kicked in the nuts. Roll on next year.
