Dunno how to do all that fancy gubbins. Bear in mind, mine's a manual-wind version from 1872.

Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!!!
I spoke too soon about the legs being relatively unscathed. Can't walk today without feeling like I'm going to throw up! Particularly downhill or down steps!
My Garmin measured the ups and downs as just over 3000ft so I think it was pretty accurate. Got the distance as 13.22 which wasn't bad either.

Just go for it , take it steady. The first few miles probably won't be pleasant but your quads should relax and then you'll be OK.

I was wondering the same Boo.
I reckon if my legs have loosened up enough to let me walk down the hil from the station later without feeling like I'm going to hurl, I'll try a mini trot.
If not, I'm retreating to the sofa and staying there for the evening.

I'm suffering too! Can hardly walk the stairs without wincing! Thinking of a walk to the shops in a minute and see how my legs feel - then may be a very easy run later
