poppyH Nov 2018 8:29am, 17 Nov 2018 775 posts	0 poppyH Sadly had to have our gorgeous cat Rosie put down yesterday, but managed to bring her home for a couple of hours first so our boys could say their goodbyes. 2 youngest boys have already asked when we're getting another cat. I'm taking that as a positive, like they recognise the value of the relationship. Still feels a bit harsh though.
Little Nemo Nov 2018 11:11am, 17 Nov 2018 9,029 posts	0 Little Nemo RIP Rosie I couldn't get a new cat straight away after Nemo died but the house definitely felt a bit empty until Hester arrived. Hope you can find a new cat at the right time for all of you.

Bintmcskint Nov 2018 3:50pm, 17 Nov 2018 41,882 posts	0 Bintmcskint I'm sorry, Rosie I had intended to wait at least a year after Maximus before getting another cat but my son had other ideas (despite the fact he was away at Uni at the time!) and 6 months later found a pair of 7 year olds on the Cats Protection website who, it turned out were being fostered just 5 minutes walk from my flat. I took it as a sign The house did feel very empty when it was just me here on my own
