Susie, you have made me smile, had to say goodbye to our very first bundle of devastation this week - Flossy - after 16 years. She was a rescue from Blue Cross, we always say when we lose one that now they're in Kitty Kingdom, it allows a new kitty to be saved and loved.

I've just noticed the similarity between photo and avatar too :)

Her name is Psipsina (greek for cat I'm led to believe. Her former owner was Greek and has moved back there for the foreseeable.) She gets Sip, or Sippy at the moment. I have a feeling it might morph to Zippy ;)

Hann - I was just thinking the vet hasn't rung back, which might mean it didn't end well, so I'll pop in next time I run past and ask

Good news. Little black cat, named Blue, was microchipped, and has been reunited with his owner, nothing broken but bad bruising to his back and mouth. He went home three days after the accident :-) I wouldn't have given anything for his chances when we picked him up, which just shows how little I know!
