Now just to show how soppy we animal lovers are, we are trying to plan a trip back home to the UK in Sept but im getting really worried about leaving Bandit, hes so humanised and I know he would miss us dreadfully. I need to find someone to house sit for when we go or the trip might not happen. Damn, how can I get so attached !

He has some pills,and has to have more tests in a few weeks to sort the dose. He's an elderly gent (17) and in pretty good nick otherwise, so hopefully he'll be with us a while yet.

Pablo offended twice more so we got a professional in (on Christmas Eve!) to clean it properly. He left us some of this stuff worldofclean.co.uk which has been brilliant at getting subsequent stains out - including vomit and red wine (not that the latter was Pablo's fault...) He's not peed on the carpet since so I hope that whatever was causing it has left his little cat brain. I've been filling the litter box a lot deeper (with clumping stuff) so that it's easier to scoop out. I'm sure you all wanted to know that
