Jerry and Jemima are the result of my brother and sister-in-law not getting Polly Cat to the vet quickly enough. Up the duff at 6 months.

Poseykitten has a night out a week before her op. I had to sign for the equivalent of a cat abortion, just in case.

Poor Pablo is going back to the vet tomorrow.
He's been vomiting over the last 48 hours; twice after food but the other times it wasn't food-related.
I don't like the fact they refer to him as an "older" cat! He's 9 1/2, which is older than most of the cats I grew up with lasted but feels very young for a sedate neutered urban tom with a distinct preference for being indoors and asleep. It's only about mid-50s in cat years.

Hope he gets better soon, SK.
I always knew that my boy could sleep a lot but yesterday, when I was working from home, I was surprised by just how much. He'd finished his breakfast and was curled up on my bed by 7.40 am. He didn't move a muscle from then until 5 pm when I went into the bedroom for something. He then came downstairs for his tea, popped out of the cat flap for 5 mins and spent the rest of the evening asleep on the sofa! I suppose when you're pushing 18 and it's raining outside, sleep is what's best!

Someone told me cats sleep for 20 hours per day. I think that is a conservative estimate!

Pablo sleeps about that I'm sure! He doesn't seem to do much else. His brother sleeps very little by comparison. Perhaps I should do a time & motion study. Or rather, a time and lack of motion study.
