Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

1:25 half to qualify for New York? Well, I had no idea. PB is 1:28, so I know it's no mere formality. And I'm definitely a minute a mile slower than I was when I set my PB last year.

Mature is the term you are looking for Happy ;)

NYC is tough qualifying - fair play if you can get in.

I'm not quite over 40, no.

To be fair, those figures aren't only not in my ballpark, it's not even that same sport.

Depending on the result tonight, my next two marathons in Chester and London could be abroad :-(

In fact over 50% of my marathons to date will be on foreign soil

Poland is very cheap, I've only done Warsaw, stayed at Marriott hotel for £60 a night in a triple room, flight was about £70 and entry less than £20, I found somewhere to drink for less than a pound £1 a pint and even in Hard rock it was no than £2.50 a pint, good value :-)
