Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

What sort of time do people get there? I have a TCT party to go to first.

Fast guys might be there from 1pm AL. But most folk presumably 2, 3, 4pm and later. I know some diehards stay all day and into the evening. I had to leave by about 4 last time because I was feeling a bit sick and weebly by then and unfortunately missed some folk. I would say more wouldn't be arriving until after 3pm (the 4.5 hour plus folk) because that's normal, not sub 2:45! :-) G

Oh that's ok. We will be among the later crew as I will do the charity party first so it will be well after 4.00pm I suspect.

I’m wondering whether to pack some extra supplies in consideration of the expected heat. What would be useful? Rehydration sachets? Spare running caps? I want to be able to help anyone who might be overheating.

Good idea. I have some rehydration sachets if people think they would be useful.
