Meglet Apr 2010 10:51am, 5 Apr 2010 3,891 posts	0 Meglet Ah good, not just me who thinks GNR is hilly then. Not in the sense of steep hills but lots of long drags, and although it must be net downhill it felt mostly uphill to me. I haven't run Leeds but I think I'd prefer it.
Lapsed Athlete Apr 2010 11:02am, 5 Apr 2010 2,945 posts	0 Lapsed Athlete morning all ... only done the GNR once and I think I was still drunk from the night before but I do remember it having some incline ... never done the Leeds Half on it's present course though did do the old Leeds Marathon a couple of times which was twice round the old Half course and included Pool Bank ... such a lovely little slope lol
DrDan Apr 2010 12:24pm, 7 Apr 2010 450 posts	0 DrDan As mentuioned, Leeds has two long climbs (3-4 miles on Stonegate Rd and 5.5-6.5 miles on the Ringroad) ... but they are both in the first half so by the time you get to the half way point at Lawnswood roundabout, all the hard work is done.
