I ordered one of those but didn't read the instructions properly - the skeg won't fit the slot on the kayak you have to replace the whole unit. Not sure how easy that is

Lee Navigation was beautiful. Very quiet. A couple of paddle boarders, a canal boat, and that was about all we saw for the entire time. Really peaceful.

I went out for an hour or two on the lough this evening. It was cool, but the northerly wind dropped towards sunset which made for a very pleasant paddle.

That’s ^^^ what it’s all about.
Friend called to ask if I fancied being his assistant when he coached a couple of folk on Tuesday. He seems to forget I have a full time job. I would have taken a day off if not for diary commitments. I’ve hardly paddled since lockdown

Hopefully things will be more straightforward next year. I can’t even get to the Ballyshannon bench at the moment, due to local restrictions.
There’s plenty of places to paddle here. Just under 10% of Fermanagh is water, (a bit more than that when things get very rainy) so you’re never too far from somewhere to explore.

Amazing photos. It has been blowing a gale here for the last couple of days so no chance of getting out anywhere
