Hey people who is going to be doing this in 2008, what are you travel arrangements? I went with 209 events last year and I am thinking in trying to do independent this year??

Good luck. I'd go independently if I had a guaranteed place, as I assume you will have. My husband got his flights a lot cheaper than I did with the entrance and flights package last year. (I'm doing Amsterdam this year instead). I did think Mike and the others were lovely and helpful, though.

We have booked through 2:09 events, any travel/events/sight seeing tips would be gratefully received, we will be there for 6 nights :)

I entered the ballot last year but didn't get through.

If I had I was going to sort the travel and accomodation out myself. I'm too picky to leave the arrangements with someone else, and I don't like being told what to do and when. Plus I didn't see why I should pay them to book stuff I could easily do myself.
