Just buy Kanadias from Sports Direct. Cheap, do the job, you're running a muddy parkrun not Snowdon. I would try them on though, they run about a size smaller than most trainers. Hateful as Sports Direct are (good luck hunting down an assistant to get your shoes from the stock room, wear camouflage), for something trail-y and cheap they are very good. They usually have other brands of trail shoes in stock too.

Don't forget if you buy from StartFitness you get 10% discount if you put Fetch10 in the discount code box when ordering, should cover the p&p I vote for the Addidas kandidas, or however you spell it ![]() |

Just treat them like a normal shoe purchase. Go to a shop and try loads on. Spend what you need to spend, or wear your normal shoes with yaktraks ![]() |

Kanadias would probably be ok on Snowdon. Depends what you are like at descending I guess. I wore my Speedcross 3s this year and barring a large blister under my heel that I had from Skiddaw a couple of weeks earlier and got worse, they were fine. I definitely wouldn't wear Walshes for Snowdon. |

I got some "no brand" ones - More Mile Cheviots. It's Start Fitness own brand, I think. They are heavy, clumpy but decent grip and comfy enough. They've only done a couple hundred miles and are showing signs of cracking on the upper, at the bit where big toe bends? Here's the clincher: £25 - 10% Fetch discount, free delivery and free More Miles socks, and (this may have been a one off), More Miles shorts. I couldn't say no! :-)G |

BTW, I've got Walshes, Inov-8 F-lites (220 and195s) and have had Inov-8 Mudclaws, Roclite 285, 315, F-lite 230 err... lots of others and these are no worse. And if they cracking on the upper doesn't mean I have to bin them, then compared to £80-£100 for the Inov-8s, they'll have been very good value! :-)G
