Only 0.3kg off this week but parkrun was faster and the exercises are feeling easier - 35 second plank and 8 push ups - so getting stronger. Today is day 49 of 10k steps. I just need to keep doing what I’m doing. I can’t see any difference but Geoff’s friend told him I’ve lost weight so I must look different. I’m going swimming now. |

Yes GM! That's great. I skipped potatoes last night but had turkey with veg and watermelon dessert (fruit doesn't count). Hoping I can maintain this momentum for next 8 days before next phase.

My 2 goals for this thread are: - Lose 10kg by Christmas - Run 5k comfortably (might include jeffing, but it’s the comfortable bit I’m after) I ran all of parkrun this morning and it felt comfortable! I'm not sure I'll be able to do it again next week but I can now work on slowly increasing pace to get back under 35 minutes (37:37 today). It would seem that the weight losses so far, daily 10k steps (day 50 today) and 7 weeks of strength exercises are paying off 💪 |
