Weigh in day for me and not had a perfect week food wise and no LSR as I aborted it yesterday as felt ill.But lost a pound so 18lbs has gone since Tintin passed away. It has been hard getting back to under 1400 calories as sugar cravings kicked in but got there. So this week will be better I am sure as Long run on Wednesday and ten miler maybe tomorrow. It seems I am having a 1.5 weeks taper;-) Ran 6 miles this morning still feeling ill but lot better than yesterday. |

Right time to rally the troops!! ATC How are you post op? GM how is it all going for you although I know stress levels maybe high? I have stalled post Newport but this is first week with LSR back in action so hoping I can get back to losing weight rather than losing the 2lbs I gain. But PT yesterday and lost half a kilo and only half to go to be back to his lowest. |

Well done, WP. I'd gone up a bit after my post Boston Half Marathon holiday. Think I'm getting back on track. Will check my weight on Sunday but think things are going OK. Hope everyone else is doing well.

I thought about posting on here a couple of times recently, then forgot to do it. It’s an age thing 🤪 I enjoyed your Newport blog, Welshpoppy. Good that you have fully recovered. I was doing well until this weekend. I was down 1.5kg and exercising regularly. Yesterday I slumped and emotionally ate. Oddly, the emotion I was feeling was defiance. “I’ll eat this if I want to and I don’t care what anyone else thinks” kind of rubbish. So all the loss has gone back on overnight 😫 |

I can understand that given the circumstances, GimmeMedals. I'm sure you'll get back on track after the move though.

Ness : I am sure you have done well come Sunday as you do not seem to gain much if any. GimmeMedals Thank you I wrote it lying on the bed post race being unable to move far;-) Come join the Newport race next year....LOL I am sure that once you move and can get back in a routine you will be back to normal. There is so many emotions with moving home-it really is an awful time. You can not gain 1.5k over night so don't worry it is a blip maybe turn it on it's head and say I can control what I eat and how I exercise. The move is out of my hands but the food, water and calories are in my control. |
