Gosfield. 1,500m there or there abouts. At one point it felt like I had the lake to myself, so took my goggles off and plodged. Lovely.

Plodge. Head up, the swimming equivalent of 'sauntering' or 'ambling'/

Nice thread Greg
My swim was fab, as always! And after my mile tomorrow morning I will have logged 100 miles so far this year on Fetch. It is, however, much harder to get up for 7am swim when it's summer holidays and I don't have to go to work though:(

My swim was flipping terrible. For some reason, the signs denoting the lanes as slow, medium and fast hadn't been put out tonight. Cue me and a few others trying to plough up and down (in the lane that's usually fast) while some old chap swam a leisurely breaststroke. There were too many people in the lane to be able to overtake him, so I gave up!

That's really annoying - did you get lane rage and storm off in a huff?

Not quite, Hepburn. I just sort of sloped off while this man continued his plodge.
