For ages mr h has said he can always spot me in races as I run funny.. Then after the track race where he watched me go round and round for 6 hours he worked out that the reason I look funny is because I sit back when I am running.
Yesterday as I chicked Rory he said I would go faster if I leaned forward and didn't sit back
So, what exercises/ drills can I do to improve my posture when running ( I have tired Pose and dont want to go down that route any more)?

Go to a pilates class with a properly trained teacher. The woman I went to (before I lapsed) called that "sitting in the bucket" and she had some great exercises to correct it. Unfortunately I can't remember what they are.

Having experimented with both POSE and Chi all I can say is POSE I found very difficult to get, Chi is like making small adjustments to your running to make you more effecient/effective

I found Poe difficult as well and gave up in the end after paying for a couple of sessions I think I have a chi DVD and book somewhere.
In my mind I have branded all these styles as the same ie hard work but sounds like chi might be simpler to get

Hellen, I've just remembered that my pilates teacher highly recommended Lynne Robinson's dvd "Pilates Powerhouse". She urged us all to buy it so that we could practise between classes, as she used a lot of the same routines in the classes. I even think I did buy it, but as I can't remember for sure, I clearly never took it out of the box - I'm useless at doing things like that at home, I need the discipline of a class.
