Son of a Pronator Man
I’m going to see The Outrun next week. This will complete a hat-trick for me of reading the book, seeing the play and now the film.

I am going down janner way for Megalopolis to see it on the IMAX

I can be extra disappointed on a super big screen.

I'm just back from megalopolis - I *think* I liked it but there was so much crammed in there I still haven't processed it all. The first 1/2 hour felt like a jumbled car crash but maybe it got better or I just got into it, I don't know.

There was one really bizarre bit and I want to know, when others see it, if that is in all screenings or just because this one was at a film festival... At one point one of the characters is being interviewed by a reporter and it drops from the big screen to a small screen with an actor live on stage, as though they are the reporter, and then the character in the film is answering the questions, they can't be doing that in all screenings, right?!
Film students will be dissecting this one for years to come, my brain hurts.

Do you think it’s the sort of film that will need a second viewing?
