I’d like to see Lee. I became interested in her in my ‘20s when I had a photographer boyfriend who was influenced by her and had her floating head pic print in his lounge. I like Kate Winslet too.

Girls Will be Girls - a really very impressive coming of age story set in a posh Indian boarding school in the Himalayas during the 90s. A lot to say about the difference between the female and male experience of being a teenager, and the differing expectations societies places on women, and in particular the male rape culture that pervade. The sexual awakening scenes felt realistic though I have no personal frame of reference.

Forgot to say one highlight for me of this was the ambient sound and the ending was rather moving too.

just out of the substance. chuffin' eck. calling it a cross between the most deranged black mirror episode and the most gruesome cronenbourg body horror does it no justice. must be seen on a big screen (if you can handle it).

I’m not sure I fancy it. I’m sure it’s admirable and all.

I am far too much of a coward to watch anything with violence, gore and horror themes in. Once went round someone’s house and they put a DVD of Saw on.

I spent the entire film looking at the time counter of the dvd player and avoiding the screen

The Third Man at an old cinema recently reopened. There was a jazz band playing beforehand. Much like cinema paradiso the projection came out of a lions mouth

Anyway hadn’t seen the film since last century, buts it’s a masterful noir, superb lighting and camerawork in the German expressionist style. A minor role for Bernard Lee as was compulsory for British films of that era

Great film

Watched "Catch me if you can" last night. Missed it when it came out. Liked it.

The only exorcism movie I've ever watched that had me rooting for the demon.
