We watched the original Beetlejuice last night to refresh our memories before going to see B2 today.
The original is very 80s. Some of it has not aged well at all (e.g. Beetlejuice trying to upskirt Geena Davies) and there's a surprising amount of swearing and smoking going on.
I rather enjoyed the sequel. It's bonkers Tim Burton fun with a few more plot strands and gory jokes.
Including us there were seven people in a giant cinema. There was one other couple and a mum with two young kids. Girl about 9 or 10, boy of 6 or 7. It might be a 12A but it's definitely not a film for kids.
