I'm in a similar position to the Ashes test match. Rain stopped play and waiting to resume

It's warmish with a light breeze 1step. If I was the type to iron a whole load of shirts I'd be fetching them in very soon. As it is they're staying out for a bit yet. I'm the same with a shirt as I am with toast: freshly done and still warm is how I like them

Not a good day! The weather forecast and expected rain were far from accurate. After starting earlier than expected and despite being told that the rain would end at 4.00 pm (and then at 6.00 pm) the sun came out and then it started raining once more.

After hanging it out twice, I've brought some items indoors and left the rest outside.

One load on now. Definitely staying indoors despite the current sunshine what with strong winds and thundery showers on their way.

For lovers of the art of hanging the washing out:

Weather forecast: Shall I hang my washing or not ? Check here:

bbc.co.uk

Terminology: 'Fluffing' -- Going out and runninng your hands over the washing just to feel whether still moist. Sometimes not needed but we all like to fluff

'Melvyn' - where you run you fingers through your washing, you think it's damp but you're not sure. It could be dry. You leave out or take in? you've done a Melvyn'.

Also for sharing photos of 'Extreme pegging'. Plastic or wooden they are all embraced here :)
