12barDavid Feb 2019 8:56pm, 17 Feb 2019 931 posts	0 12barDavid Aaaarrrggghhh. I missed good drying weather today. I went for a 14 mile run over the South Downs. There was a clear blue sky, a nice breeze & it was hot for this time of year. By the time I got home, had a shower & put the washing machine on, the afternoon was drawing on. By the time the washing machine had finished, it was too late really to peg the washing out. It's now on the airers in front of the coal fire.

Terminology: 'Fluffing' -- Going out and runninng your hands over the washing just to feel whether still moist. Sometimes not needed but we all like to fluff

'Melvyn' - where you run you fingers through your washing, you think it's damp but you're not sure. It could be dry. You leave out or take in? you've done a Melvyn'.

Also for sharing photos of 'Extreme pegging'. Plastic or wooden they are all embraced here
