Yeah it's an option, although a long way to lug heavy wet washing. (I don't have a car.) No space for a tumble dryer in my flat and not worth it for occasional use anyway.

Make sure your washing machine is spinning on high Red. It makes a massive difference, especially for jeans, sweatshirts, towels etc. Synthetic programs have short, slow spins to prevent creasing

Cheers matey - I do. The spin on my machine is not amazing. I knew this when I bought it but liked the other features.

We can do a delayed start. It's great to start a wash at say 4 or 5 am so the washing is finished when we get up but it's not been lying in a creased heap all night
