Yeah it's an option, although a long way to lug heavy wet washing. (I don't have a car.) No space for a tumble dryer in my flat and not worth it for occasional use anyway.

Make sure your washing machine is spinning on high Red. It makes a massive difference, especially for jeans, sweatshirts, towels etc. Synthetic programs have short, slow spins to prevent creasing nerd

Cheers matey - I do. The spin on my machine is not amazing. I knew this when I bought it but liked the other features.

Bet you're all wondering what other features could be better than a good spinner. :)

I think the delayed start feature on my washing machine is pretty handy :-)

We can do a delayed start. It's great to start a wash at say 4 or 5 am so the washing is finished when we get up but it's not been lying in a creased heap all night

For lovers of the art of hanging the washing out:

Weather forecast: Shall I hang my washing or not ? Check here:

bbc.co.uk

Terminology: 'Fluffing' -- Going out and runninng your hands over the washing just to feel whether still moist. Sometimes not needed but we all like to fluff

'Melvyn' - where you run you fingers through your washing, you think it's damp but you're not sure. It could be dry. You leave out or take in? you've done a Melvyn'.

Also for sharing photos of 'Extreme pegging'. Plastic or wooden they are all embraced here :)
