Boab,
I will post them when i get abit more time. I am with the kids and typing via phone sorry.
Oh and I beleive we are all broke to some degree and we can All use some fixin. some more than others. I think it is a very bad idea to just ingore technique even if it seems like it is fine. Given the knowledge and info available today everyone should finetune their technique. wouldn't you agree?

J,
Like Boab says this is meant to be a thread discussing a method of training not a technique thread. So please feel welcome to discuss this method of training.
I have to say running slower is far more enjoyable and my recovery is much better. I did 12 miles yesterday morning before work then did 4.5 miles in the afternoon and was actually looking forward to doing the a afternoon run my legs felt fine, rather than tired all the time.

Yep Ian, it is good to know that you have run 12+ miles a day and still feel fresh, isnt' it?
J, I agree with you regarding technique/running style, but this is a thread on training methods/schedules, not technique.
I am happy to comare stats with you, but lets keep the technique out of it. Ta.

boab,
Just so it is clear, I don't seperate technique from training methods and would not recommend any one else do so either but as I said I will post via fmail if I want to comment on it:)

Nice running Ian, I did a 7.5 run yesterday lunchtime at 75% then went out last night with the club and did another 7.5. The night run was too fast for the HADD training (about 88%) and my legs felt tired today for the first time in weeks.

Yes it is Boab, I cant wait to get out now rather forcing myself.
Im doing a 50min sub lactate run tomorrow which is 155 - 160bpm for me, even these are quite enjoyable!
Boab, Do you vary the heart rate limit you run to a lot then?
ChiRunner, Yes it'll be interesting to see how I get on. My current 10k pb is about 42.00 minutes from what I can remember, but that from nearly a year ago. My current half marathon time is 1:24:35 so it'll be interesting how it compares to the calculators. My 10k is due on the 8th November.

Tizer, Thanks it'll be interesting to see how we get on as we are of a similar pace, although you are faster!
Its interesting to hear how legs were tired again after just one harder run for you. My legs have been tired all the time for about 6 months, even during taoering. I only did 20 miles the week before the GNR and my legs were still tired. Its great having the relaxed feeling in my legs again looking forward to running again despite hittng one of my highest mileage weeks ever.

This has the makings of a great thread and one I am now going to monitor !
For me however slow running is something that I cannot quite master, I find it hard to keep the pace down and love my runs where I get to just beneath my threshold and have had a decent workout.
However anything that gets the results we have seen from Boab has to be considered carefully.
