Didn't see any Fetchies! V disappointed. Great race, though. Really enjoyed it. Was aiming for 1.45 and got 1.37 so delighted. And that in that AWFUL wind along the front.

Well done everyone! I'll be back next year.

Well done everyone. Some super times. Well I got there and ran it and despite having injury issues came in at 1:41:41. My best time here is 1:32 and I was hoping to do a sub 1:30 this year but due to injury had to take it easy. Next year fingers crossed. Love this race - wind wasn't as bad as I expected. Unfortunately didn't spot any other Fetchies.

I'll be back next year. Got unfinished business and want a sub 2 gggrrrrr. Forgot how good this race is. I have to say that even though the Bupa races are expensive, I love them. The organisation and the crowd support is fab :-)

I had just spent a whole evening with relatives!!! That's as much as I could possible handle in a weekend.

I had a great time :-) even though I was 28 seconds slower than last year - that damn wind in the last 2 miles saw to that :-( but the whole event has a great atmosphere and I love 10 mile races.

Really glad we went for the catamaran option for getting off and back to the IoW as the hovercraft had stopped running by midday because of the weather. It's quite a long walk back to the harbour station but maybe it did some good as I have no soreness in my legs today.
