Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

They're making bread look awfully difficult, which should please the supermarkets.

"4 hours to put some tomatoes on a cob"

Brilliant. I would have at least put the tomatoes IN the cob.

And some bacon.

And an egg.

white chocolate in bread is just weird. And yes, Ruby's startled deer act is beginning to irk me. She's bringing the stereotype of fey, pretend-ther-worldly philosophy students too much to life for my enjoyment.

I didn't particularly like her last week, but I could cut her some slack as she was having a hard time of it. But even when she wins she's got a face like a slapped arse!

I think Matchstick lady is going to struggle as the competition progresses; she seems very much presentation over flavour. The Milton Keynes builder is also a bit risky, seems to lack the in-depth experience of some of the hours.

I like Ruby but I don't like the way the camera work is trying to pitch her and Kimberly as "rivals".

Ali had a good week, I think.

Recipes look quite useful this week, including Peacock bread, but more usefully English Muffins bbc.co.uk
