The rain held off at Gt Bentley, but there was a bit of cold wind.
I ended up not running as I got sick yesterday, not eaten since yesterday breakfast time
no sleep, back ache etc.
Still went there as I was taking two runner friends along...really wanted to run but decided to be sensible.
Very small field compared to normal, 361 runners.
First place guy was about 1:08 4-5 minutes ahead of anyone else.
Met BattleCat, controversial, SouthendAl, Bru-Bru and phyllida <waves>
Was really looking forward to today, but can't alway do what we want to, and there will be other races.

the boy did alright - no PB but he reallly hasn't put the miles in - 1:44:14 - he was the one who ran all the way round in a sun hat! His mate doing his first half got 1:41:03 - now I need to speak to them both about St Neots
Lovely to speak to Battlecat and to shout at random fetchies - I'm afraid I wasn't quite sure who everybody was
