Idles at Electric Ballroom tonight.
Really really exciting, 98% brilliant crowd.
Sweaty, shouty, life affirming and I got my coat out of the cloakroom in double quick time.
Support was Crows who started off a bit one dimensional, but I warmed to them. Frontman was a star in the making.

Bodega @ Summerhall (saw them a few months ago and HAVE to go back again)
Hot Club of Cowtown @ The Queens Hall
Also looking forward to Thee Oh Sees @ QMU Glasgow.

Ticket through for In Flames at Naarwich on Tuesday  First gig since Therapy? at the end of last year. Love The Waterfront as a venue-it kicks out just in time for the last train home!

Sounds about right 1step but yes they are excellent.
Still sulking about having to sell my idles ticket for tonight but I've got Tom Williams and Pup next week to soften the blow. And chief has bagged us tickets for The Twilight Sad in November which is very exciting.

Got tickets for Idlewild in Manchester the day after London marathon - could be painful!
And The Vaccines have announced a rescheduled June date for the Blackburn gig that was stopped after 45 minutes due to barrier issues earlier this year. £2 admin fee and we get to do it all again Hopefully the full setlist this time...
