Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

ElD, in case you've not heard, Sea Power have cancelled Bristol tonight due to various crew and band members having the 'rona. I'd check before venturing along to St Luke's on Fri.

Jeff Rosenstock in Bristol last night, 6th show in 7 nights, 1200 miles driven, very very tired.

Last show tonight at Southampton Joiners which has been on my visit list for quite a while. Then its back to 'normal' life instead of a punk tour of the UK.

Protomartyr are ace in a brooding punk way. Joe Casey got through about 8 tinnies when I saw them.

Soooooooo time for my 'change the bloody record will you' whine about ticketing.

Arcade Fire's new album comes out in a couple of weeks and they are doing a one-off show at KoKo in London (the grand reopening of the place) next week.

If you'd pre-ordered the album you got a go at buying a ticket at 10:00 this morning. General sales from 12:00.

Well, I had pre-ordered already so i got sent an access code. I logged into Ticketmaster early and waited for 10:00. At 10 on the nose, the site opened up, had about three seconds of reloading then I was selecting 1 ticket & buy now. I could not have been any faster. But no. No tickets available.

I don't know if they held any tickets back to 12:00 but I went through the same pathetic rigmarole then. Ticket window opens... and instantly sold out. It is clear that the majotrity of these tickets go to screen-scraping robots.

I blame Win Butler.

And Joopsy's probably seen the whole of Jeff Rosenstock's tour for the price of a pair of tickets to Arcade Fire
