It was a great gig. Royal Blood supported by The Mysterines. My first gig for a very long time. Everyone’s Covid apps were checked - the staff were scanning them with an iPad. Not sure what that was checking exactly but they were turning people away.
In terms of the venue there is a large flat area, and then it slopes back up. We were about half way up the slope and had plenty of space, so it all felt safe to us. Really glad we went - it was a good night.
If people gig and camp too, and find themselves at Eden Project, consider camping at Britannia Inn. It’s 2-3 miles from the venue (not really safe to walk though), and they let people camp for free in their large field. Toilets available, and a decent breakfast the next morning. We were in our van and slept well although there is noise from the road.
Something different this evening as we are going Minack (the outdoor theatre) for a show.
