Right its save some CASH time, our bezzie mate Simon at Up and Running Bournemouth has kindly offered anyone who goes into the shop £10 off any shoes you buy. Only in the Bournemouth shop mind!!! Dont rock up to Up and Running Carlisle and demand money off shoes mind, its just for entrants in our races who can get to Simons shop. Email our superb admin team and they will email back a code for you to print off or go in the shop and whisper the secret password we send you. You will get £10 off shoes easy. T&Cs apply only entrants to our races, only people we like the look of. |

ACHTUNG Right listen up important announcement time Something for FREE Date for your Hello Kitty diary. 9.00 am 26th May Rex Bale and I will be walking the whole 10k and Marathon route. You are invited to join us for a nice walk and recce. Don't panic though you don't have to walk the whole route you can cut off at 10k, 13 miles 18 miles and 20 miles I will be sorting out lifts from those points back to the start at Sydling village hall Free parking will be Dollans Farm courtesy of Chris the farmer. The walk will take all day we hope to be back in Sydling before 6pm this includes a cup of tea and cake at the Gun Club cafe on the A37. contact us before hand on info@whitestarrunning.co.uk so we have an idea of numbers. All welcome. |

Taken from Facebook FOOD glorrioous foooooooooooood. Right, we have had some issues about food before the event, we thought we may have been able to sort out food in the village hall in Sydling, then we thought we could bring food in. None of those ideas panned out. However we have a solution, we think!. White Star Running has its own restaurant for the night before the GH Marathon and 10k on Friday 28th. All ours no one else. So it will a great place for runners, campers, helpers and all the families to meet up before the event. We have some finer points to work out with the owners about opening hours and the booking procedure, but its in Dorchester 10 minutes from Sydling, there's free parking after 18:00, they have a bar (thankfully). They will also have a menu speshully created for us runners. Pasta, baked spuds etc.etc. More details in the next few days but thought we would fire this out now so its one less headache about travel and getting food. |

Right we have a very limited number of Giantshead Marathon Hoodies back up for sale, email our sales team on info@whitestarrunning.co.uk Sizes are as following...remember when they is gone they is gone. Longest run done - 22.25M last Sunday. Plan says longest is 11M from here on in - taper well and truly underway!

scary stuff! i did 28 miles in March but my longest run since then has been 12 miles yesterday at the Plod  can everyone please take care as they step over me on their way to the finish?
